The Opportunity

As our Freight Office Team Leader you will be responsible for the efficient direction and day-to-day management of the Freight Office leading and supporting a small team.

Youll be the first point of contact for our customersboth over the phone and in personhandling enquiries resolving issues and ensuring freight is processed accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership customer service and operational coordination.

Please note: this role includes occasional heavy lifting so a good level of physical fitness is required.

What Youll Be Doing

• Lead and support a team of Freight Officers
• Oversee the efficient processing scanning and data entry of undeliverable freight
• Assess process and manage damaged freight including customer notifications
• Deliver exceptional customer service across phone and face-to-face interactions
• Respond to customer enquiries promptly providing effective solutions
• Work closely with drivers and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

• Good computer skills and confidence using office systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
