SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing various hatchery quality assurance tasks while maintaining a safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Candeling and residue break out to determine hatch opportunities.
Weighing and tracking eggs to determine moisture loss.
Chick quality assessments w/ vaccine takes
Completing processing quality assessment (holding temps washer temps and pH injury assessment)
Record vital information (chiller temps & pressure processing run times)
Prepull chick assessment
Periodic pretransfer evaluation
Audit vaccine and AW docs
Complete egg pack evaluation
Special projects as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required
- High school diploma
Preferred
- Data entry experience
- Hatchery or QA Experience
