Senior Field Service Engineer (PLC background)

Job purpose

• Deliver technical service to customers in the region
• Maintain and develop customer satisfaction by deliver solid result professional attitude and continual improvement of system performance
• Lead local service team to execute service contracts

Scope

• Preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Evaluation system performance and continual improvement

Qualification and abilities

In the position of senior field service engineer youll make an important contribution to the goal of achieving the highest possible customer satisfaction focusing on the continuity of customers processes. That means youll need an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and a flexible working approach.

• University degree major in automation control engineering or mechatronics with at least 5 years relevant customer service working experience
• Competence of Siemens PLC controls commissioning/troubleshooting
• With related automated material handling systems experience will be plus
• Reading written and oral skills in English language

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that the preventive maintenance of our material handling systems is carried out properly as agreed in the maintenance contracts with customers. youll be responsible for solving them on your own initiative.

• Participant site installation commissioning
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on site
• The first service contact in local to response customer request
• Solve automation controls issues independently or by remote support
• Organize resource to resolve system issues keeping system operation
• Spare parts proposal to customer for make sure system operation normally
• Communicate with internal and customer to implement changes e.g. retrofit upgrade
• Lead small local service team and subcontractor to execute service contract
• Renew service contract year by year
