This position is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of The Spa at The Hotel Hershey. The Spa Operations Manager must direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction the achievement and maintenance of The Hotel Hershey standards and profit maximization.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Oversee the daily operations of the Spa to ensure optimal performance in all areas including conducting daily walk-throughs of the Spa facility and team meetings with areas of responsibility.*
Interview hire train and supervise all Spa staff. Administer annual performance appraisals.*
Oversee the monthly and bi-monthly professional and retail inventory counts and inventory levels within the Spa. Purchase and maintain product supply and equipment at the highest possible level.*
Oversee all in-house training and maintain operation manuals policies and procedures for all support staff. Complete inspections of employees assigned areas and duties/performance to maintain quality and consistency.*
Assist the Spa Director with annual budget and special projects. Stay current on professional developments within the spa industry.
Assist with Spa events at other HE&R locations (Hershey Country Club Hersheypark Hershey Lodge).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Completion of high school or GED
Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Industry Experience - Spa Hospitality/Tourism
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
Massage Therapist Certification or Esthetician/Cosmetologist Certification
Must attend and successfully pass a CPR and First Aid training course
Post-Employment - Must obtain RAMP Certification
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Skilled in the use of Google Workspace.
