Junior Consultant to join Implement Economics

Were looking for bright economics students with an analytical mindset positive energy and strong problem-solving skills to join Implement Economics.

What youll do
As a junior consultant at Implement Economics youll be trained to apply your knowledge to solve real-world problems. You will embark on a steep learning curve and be part of the project team on equal terms with full-time consultants.

Our projects typically combine both micro- and macroeconomics industrial economics financial and econometric tools to analyse the problem at hand. Were particularly passionate about:

• International trade and globalisation
• Economic regulation of utility and network industries
• Socioeconomic analysis of new policy interventions
• Digitisation and digital platforms
• Market and industry analysis

In this role youll have the opportunity to influence the type of projects you work on and your areas of responsibility will vary between external client engagements and internal assignments. You can expect that a significant part of your work will be done for clients in collaboration with colleagues. On these projects your responsibilities will range from data collection and processing data analysis building Excel models and programming to managing certain parts of the project. When youre not working on client projects you will be supporting internal business development.

The workload is approximately 1525 hours per week. However we also understand that you must prioritise your studies and were aware that there will be times when you are occupied by exams.

What youll bring

Currently studying economics with a strong academic record (e.g. from KU AU etc.)
In the final year of a bachelors degree or at the beginning of a masters degree
Curious and eager to expand your knowledge
Customer-oriented empathetic and entrepreneurial
