Role Purpose
The HR & Talent Specialist serves as a unified HR and talent acquisition point of contact for assigned business units. This role bridges the gap between people operations and recruitment supporting managers through the full employee lifecycle while simultaneously driving end-to-end hiring for designated functions.
Key Responsibilities
People & HR Business Partnering (50%)
- Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding performance reviews PIPs and offboarding
- Partner with managers on day-to-day employee relations matters grievances and HR advisory needs
- Drive engagement initiatives pulse surveys and translate feedback into meaningful action plans
- Coordinate with Payroll and HR Ops teams to ensure employee data accuracy compliance and timely processing
- Maintain HR documentation policy adherence records and employee files in line with statutory requirements
- Support managers with probation reviews role clarity discussions and performance calibration inputs
Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid-level and specialist roles across assigned business verticals
- Partner with hiring managers to craft clear role briefs define competency frameworks and structure interview panels
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn job boards referral programs and talent communities
- Track and report key hiring metrics time-to-fill offer acceptance rate source mix and pipeline conversion
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication structured feedback and professional engagement
- Maintain ATS hygiene and contribute to regular hiring reviews with stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications
Must Have
- Education - BBA/MBA
- 35 years of experience in HR Talent Acquisition or a hybrid role spanning both functions
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Darwinbox Workday SAP SuccessFactors or any platform) and ATS tools
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables across HR and hiring workstreams simultaneously
- Sound understanding of employment law basics and HR compliance requirements
Good to Have
- Exposure to HR MIS reporting basic analytics and dashboard interpretation
- Familiarity with employer branding structured interviewing and competency-based assessments
- Prior experience in a hybrid HRBP TA capacity especially in a fast-growing or matrixed organization
