Gardener powers SAPs global landscape and is trusted as the foundation for countless enterprise workloads at SAP and outside. We adopt the Kubernetes open-source system for automating deployment scaling and management of containerized SAP solutions and business applications. We provide solutions to run and orchestrate Kubernetes clusters on public cloud hybrid or SAP-owned infrastructures for a variety of enterprise use cases inside and outside of SAP.

The Enablement Team works in lockstep with management project managers and developers to make Gardener adoption seamless and successful. Were the bridge between technology and people: helping stakeholders improving documentation and ensuring feedback flows back into development but also spreading the word about our amazing features. What youll do

• Build and evolve the documentation platform for the Gardener project creating rich interactive learning experiences that accelerate adoption.
• Design build and maintain CI/CD and automated test environments to ensure our documentation always matches our softwareautomatically detecting breaking dependency changes that could block a guide or tutorial.

• Engage with the Gardener community and stakeholders to foster collaboration and share knowledge.
• Help users install and configure Gardener by facilitating the creation of excellent documentation to make their journey smooth and intuitive.
• Improve and maintain documentation to support adoption and best practices.
• Collect feedback and work with engineering teams to enhance user flows and overall experience.
• Make sure Gardener is represented at conferences and events through presentations demos and talks.
• Maintain Gardener and NeoNephos demo environments

What were looking for

• You understand the value of excellent documentation and want to turn it into a strategic asset for the Gardener unitusing a product mindset and the full product development toolkit.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and cloud technologies or willingness to learn quickly.
• Hands-on experience in any programming language Golang and Python preferred.
• A degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Open source experience and a passion for community-driven development.
• A storyteller who can turn technical details into engaging presentations and inspire audiences.
• Good communication skills in English both written and verbal. Proficiency in German is a bonus.
