5 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
Every other weekend required
Holidays required (23 during assignment)
No on-call
Floating as needed

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a reliable Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support a fast-paced Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will work closely with nursing staff to provide direct patient care and ensure a safe efficient and supportive patient care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist nursing staff with patient care and clinical support tasks
Obtain and document vital signs weights intake and output
Perform EKGs and document results
Collect blood specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques
Perform capillary blood draws and glucometer testing
Assist with patient hygiene mobility and transport
Support meal setup and feeding when required
Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment
Restock supplies and ensure proper specimen handling
Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN
Support a safe and organized care environment
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a Patient Care Technician program required
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience required
Phlebotomy certification required
EKG certification required
BLS (AHA) certification required
Strong skills in vitals specimen collection and patient care
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
