Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors associates and/or vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting guests verifying credentials as required maintaining visitor logs and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals deliveries and/or special access requests.
• Respond to incidents questions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant activity and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support front desk operations in a retail location by observing lobby and entry activity helping to deter unauthorized access and directing visitors to the appropriate destination.
• Answer phones and provide information consistent with site guidelines while maintaining awareness of security-related activity at the reception area and immediately surrounding entrance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
