Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management civil engineering morale welfare and recreation support among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Cashiers serve as key members of the food service team. As a Cashier you will be responsible for ringing up military customers using an Aloha Point of Sales system while providing excellent customer service. You will be handling currency accepting credit cards and validating customer authorization to dine. You will frequently handle customer questions and aid customers when needed. You will be working in a shift environment that provides the highest level of customer service around the clock.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Cashiers must read safety guidelines daily and keep up with all required training
- Food selling prices must be verified updated as needed and posted correctly; cashiers must learn how to use the Aloha P.O.S.
- Identify customers who are authorized to use the facility
- Ring up food items from authorized customers; obtain signatures from customers as required
- Balance the cash register and safeguard the cash
- Cashiers must be able to take in-flight meal orders by phone and in person
- Understand all emergency and anti-robbery procedures and assist Supervisor when needed
- Wear a clean uniform and pertinent personal protective equipment
- Notify managers/supervisors whenever a customer is not complying with the dress code
- Complete all required safety training
- Work shifts
- Keep the work area clean and tidy
Basic Qualifications
- Food Handlers Certificate
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one year experience as a cashier
- Be able to read write and speak and comprehend English level III
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business management
- Computer skills
- Customer Service experience in a military environment
- Experience charging customers
