Our unique manufacturing processes integrate various materials adhesives and RFID transponders into cohesive labeling solutions making them a prime partner in smart identification and tracking Title:Press OperatorAs a Press Operator you willoperatea flexographic printing press engaged in the production of printed products in a safe and efficient includes the set-up as specified in the work addition you will complete quality checks to ensure that the printed product meets all functional this position you will also load substrates onto the press and record all required production data into the shop floor data collection will alsobe requiredto perform and complete basic housekeeping and preventative maintenance :Performs typical press operations to job ticket and work with Press Helper to ensure job is set up properly on the press per required specifications and job notesRun the job setup on the press and log data related to the job setup in the the job per specifications and log when completed noting material used running the press review printed rolls for quality and consistency related to all aspects of the labels including color registration and die completion of the job move finished roll to finishing department and breakdown and clean machine in preparation for the next with Shift Supervisor and/or Production Managerregardingany issues with the labels and proper data collection for each job including job notes on material and time basic troubleshooting of the press along with the Press Helper and work area and machines in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed company policies and safety continuous improvement activities andparticipatein training when offered or :High School diploma or least threeyearspress or printing related production Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Good be proactive and detail oriented to catch problems or inconsistencies and bring them to managements organization skills to manage multiple different labels each dayKnowledge of press operation and basic be mechanically inclined to grasp the basics of press operation and to add and subtract multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
