Working for our team you can truly make a Press Operator Leadis an essential member of the team responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions while leading/supervising a team of print work at MCC:$2500 Sign-On BonusGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Day after New Years Good Friday Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas DayResponsibilities:Oversees timekeeping attendance performance reviews training and development Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assignedManages Press Operators performing the following duties:Adhering to all plant and corporate safety rules procedures and all safety concerns or issues to clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping make-readyin accordance withthe Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders inks substrates tooling andaniloxrollers are all required quality checks related to product specifications visual and functional checks; completing all press-side quality press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications whilemaintainquality waste and press consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks includes: copy color and registration and ink adhesion. Ensuring conformance to all other quality all related procedures work instructions and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC press makereadysin an efficient all required equipment maintenance plate cylinder and ink pans and lubricates press as all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt :High school diploma or Supervisory / Team Lead experience required.1 years as a Printing Press Operator experience and/or training requiredThe physical demands require standing using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and position requires frequent employee is required to climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 physical demands require standing using hands to finger feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
