Inspector Operator - 3rd shiftPosition Overview
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for Inspecting and repairing carpet rolls.
Essential Duties:
Inspect rolls Assign defects Enter quality information into computer
Education:
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
Work in a fast past industrial environment with inherent background noise dirt humidity and temperature variations.
Able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Able to step up and down off catwalk multiple times during shift.
Capable of squatting bending stooping several times during shift.
Travel 20-30 feet in a short period of time several times during shift.
Able to maneuver in narrow aisles.
Must participate in group stretching prior to shift
Other Requirements:
Must be applicable to all JHAs
Training Requirements:
On The Job Training (OJT) Other as required
Tools Equipment & Material Requirements:
Air hose Scissors/duckbill Carpet knife Gloves
Safety & Security Requirements:
This position has the responsibility and authority to report to management any safety problems and potential problems encountered while performing the job.
This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output and their co-worker.
