Job Summary
We are looking for a Java Developer with strong backend development experience focusing on high-performance and low-latency systems. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring understands multithreading and multiprocessing concepts and is comfortable working on scalable performance-critical applications. Experience with modern agentic coding tools or approaches is a strong advantage.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Prague area (preferred)
Work Mode: Primarily onsite at client workplace (flexible may vary between onsite / hybrid / remote)
Language: Czech or Slovak required
Contract Type: B2B / Contract
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend components using Java and Spring
- Build scalable and high-performance backend solutions
- Optimize applications with a strong focus on low-latency processing
- Collaborate on architecture and integration with existing systems
- Support adoption of modern development tools and agentic coding approaches
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and Spring
- Solid understanding of multithreading and multiprocessing
- Experience with low-latency / performance-critical backend systems
- Experience designing scalable backend architectures
- Ability to communicate in Czech or Slovak
- Availability to start in the near future
Nice to Have
- Experience with agentic coding tools (e.g. Opencode Claude Code Kiro Codex)
- Exposure to modern development workflows and automation approaches
