Summary:
An opportunity is available to join the HROD Service delivering a professional and customer-focused HR support function across the council. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in HR offering hands-on experience while supporting key HR processes and contributing to a high-quality consultancy service.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries from employees and managers
- Triage and support HR queries ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Coordinate job evaluation and grading requests maintaining accurate records
- Support and promote employee financial wellbeing schemes (e.g. salary sacrifice)
- Assist in the delivery of HR services in line with policies and best practice
Essential Requirements:
- Strong interest in developing a career in HR
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
- Customer-focused approach with attention to detail

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
