Job Title: Remote Accountant (UK-Based Clients)

Location: Remote (Pakistan)
Working Hours: UK Business Hours

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team remotely supporting UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK accounting standards taxation and compliance requirements along with hands-on experience using leading accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit statutory accounts from source records
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations
• Manage payroll processing including calculations and submissions
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting
• Handle bookkeeping and reconciliations (bank supplier customer)
• Assist with tax computations and compliance requirements
• Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries
• Ensure adherence to UK accounting standards and deadlines

Requirements

• ACCA Affiliate (mandatory)
• Proven experience working with UK-based clients or UK accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and taxation
• Ability to prepare accounts independently from source records
• Experience in VAT returns and payroll processing

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:
• Xero
• QuickBooks
• IRIS Software
• VT Accounting

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
