What Youll Do | Job Summary: This role provides strategic leadership over the organizations balance sheet risk management activities ensuring alignment between financial structure risk appetite and business objectives. This role oversees enterprise-wide practices for managing liquidity interest rate and foreign exchange risks while guiding stakeholders through complex regulatory financial and market considerations. - Oversee the measurement monitoring and mitigation of risks arising from mismatches in asset and liability cash flows and funding structures.
- Set governance frameworks policies and guidelines for balance sheet management financial modeling and risk reporting.
- Ensure accurate timely and decision-useful reporting of balance sheet positions for internal leadership regulators and external stakeholders.
- Direct the development and review of financial models used to assess structural balance sheet risks and long-term resilience.
- Partner with senior leaders across finance treasury risk and business units to align balance sheet strategy with enterprise priorities.
- Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives market conditions and regulatory changes on balance sheet risk and capital efficiency.
- Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to guide funding strategies investment decisions and risk mitigation actions.
- Represent the organization in discussions with regulators auditors and rating agencies related to balance sheet risk and liquidity management.
- Lead and develop senior talent within the Asset Liability Management function fostering strong risk discipline and analytical rigor.
Typical Scope: - Drives execution of functional strategies and ensures alignment with broader business goals. Oversees operational performance resource allocation and process optimization. Supports strategic planning and contributes to the development of policies budgets and infrastructure that enable long-term success. Makes decisions with significant organizational impact often involving complex cross-functional considerations. Works closely with executive leadership and influences decisions on matters of strategic importance.
- Oversees a business function at the local or regional level with broad accountability for operational and strategic outcomes. Responsible for executing strategy and directing operations across multiple teams. Possesses deep expertise in their functional area and a strong understanding of organizational dynamics. May contribute to strategy development and long-term planning for their function.
- Manages through multiple layers of leadership typically overseeing Directors and Senior Managers. Sets direction for talent development succession planning and organizational culture within their function. Builds strong leadership capability across teams and fosters collaboration and accountability.
- 4 - 7 Directors Senior Managers Managers Assistant Managers and/or Principal Professionals and below reporting to them.

What Youll Need | Education & Experience: - Required Education: Bachelors degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree) advanced degree preferred.
- Required Experience: 8 years of relevant experience 6 years as a People Leader.
Qualifications & Skills: - Extensive experience in balance sheet risk management treasury financial risk or related finance leadership roles within complex organizations.
- Deep expertise in liquidity management interest rate risk and balance sheet analytics across diverse financial structures.
- Strong command of financial modeling risk measurement methodologies and regulatory reporting expectations.
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and guide enterprise-level financial strategy.
- Demonstrated leadership capability including setting direction managing senior teams and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
