The incumbent will be a core member of the MIC HW team designing mechanical parts collaborating and managing suppliers and carrying out the verification of medical devices. This role will contribute to the overall design development and validation of new electromechanical systems ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills mechanical design experience and a motivation to achieve results. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Infant Care products as part of a larger HW team.
- Conceptualize and create mechanical designs mechanical components and subsystems using Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Create & review engineering drawings understand GD&T principles tolerance stack-up analysis material selection & selection of manufacturing processes.
- Hands on 3D CAD modeling to design and develop mechanical components and sub systems.
- Perform necessary mechanical calculations to meet the needs of modelling part analysis design FMEAs etc.
- Develop test plans and reports and perform testing and verification of designs.
- Obtain and leverage knowledge of industrial grade plastics/polymers and their design & manufacturing principles.
- Work with suppliers to ensure test samples are consistent with the goals of larger programs projects or initiatives.
Qualifications & Essential Skills:
- Mechanical engineering or closely related STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) major.
- Effective oral and written technical communication skills
- Experience designing mechanical parts in Creo
- Excellent teamwork coordination and communication skills
- Willing to come onsite a minimum of 3 days a week and work directly with our development team located in Waukesha Wisconsin

- Appetite for creativity and problem solving.
Desired Skills:
- Self-starter energizing and results oriented
- Mechanical testing experience in a regulated industry

- Demonstrated experience with quality and regulatory compliance processes
