Job Description (What Youll Be Doing)

Conduct analysis of interceptor missile system and/or launch and ground system structures structural mechanics failure modes and fatigue analysis.

Support missile/ground system structural requirements development coordination and verification activities in support of the GMD Product Office.

Support and lead multi-disciplinary Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) and Working Groups (WG) with missile defense Government and Industry partners.

Required Skills (What Required Skills You Bring)

MS STEM degree and 12 years of related professional experience in mechanical/aerospace structural analysis

Active Secret Clearance required

Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated Govt/Industry multi-disciplinary team

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to coordinate and support execution of TIMs and/or WGs in the absence of Government Product Office Chairs. Document activities actions and Executive Summaries of structural analysis TIMs and WGs.

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security

clearance.

Preferred Skills (Desired but not Required)

Active Top Secret Clearance or eligibility for TS upgrade as required

Demonstrated experience with Ground-based Missile Defense interceptors launch or ground systems.

Demonstrated experience with Missile Defense Agency managed weapon systems.
