- Schedule: 4 -10hr shifts weekly working every other weekend

Job Summary
We are seeking a Nutrition Technician (FT) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Gainesville FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for infant feeding preparation data collection record maintenance and diet office functions as needed.
- Assist in distributing and collecting menus.
- Assist patients in compelting menu selections in compliance with the prescribed diet as assigned by the clinical dietitian.
- Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal state and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality HIPPA regulations and patient rights policies
- Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
- Participates in patient satisfaction programs departmental meetings and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare and/or related food and nutrition operations.
- Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications electronic medical record & diet office systems and nutrient analysis programming
