Technical Tender & Procurement Engineer

AsTechnical Tender & Procurement Engineer you play a key supporting role in the successful preparation and execution ofcomplexelectrical infrastructure projects. You contribute to supply chain and procurement activities primarily during thetender and early projectexecutionphases ensuring technical alignment betweenclientsengineering requirements and supplier capabilities.

You act as an important interface betweentender engineering teams and the procurement/supply chain function helping translate technical specifications into sourcing strategies and supplier this role you support efficientcompliant procurementwhile contributing to strong supplierselectionand competitive project bids in an international environment.

HowYoullMake an Impact

• Support and coordinate procurement activities during the bid phase working closely withsales &tenderengineers to translate technical requirements into RFQs and supplier packages.

• Assistin preparing bid documentation evaluating supplier offers and contributing to negotiations from both a technical and commercial perspective.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineeringsales &tenderteams supply chain management cost controlling and legal) to ensure alignment between technical specifications and procurement approach.

• Contribute to drafting and managing RFQs purchase orders and supplier documentation in line with company standards and processes.

• Support supplier selection by performing technical and commercial comparisons and basic market analysis.

• Monitor supplier inputs during the tender phase and flag risks inconsistencies or optimization opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies quality standards and applicable regulations throughout procurement activities.

• Lead negotiations process to ensure bestprice quality balance

• Establishlong termpartnership with suppliers

• Continuously support improvement of tender and procurement processes tools and collaboration across teams.

Your Background

• Bachelors orMasters degree inElectrical Engineering Energy Technology or a related technical field.

• Approximately37 years of experiencein technical tendering project engineering or procurement withinelectricalinfrastructure energy or industrial projects.

• Experience working withtechnical specifications supplier documentation or project bidsis essential; direct procurement experience isadvantageousbut not mandatory.

• Fluent Dutch and strong English language skills (written and verbal).

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and connecttechnical and commercial requirements.

• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and international project environments.

• Familiarity with procurement processes contract basics or supplier management is a plus.
