Essential Functions
- Lead and actively participate in the month-end and year-end close process including journal entries accruals and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts including inventory COGS and fixed assets
- Support costing functions including:
- Rate updates
- Inventory valuation
- Variance analysis (labor material overhead)
- Partner with operations to understand production activity and identify cost drivers and cost-saving opportunities
- Perform inventory accounting and maintain controls including coordination and support of physical inventory counts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support corporate reporting requirements and provide requested documentation
- Assist with external audit and tax preparation requests
- Support credit review processes for new customers and verification of vendor documentation
- Participate in yearend financial review with corporate leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
