Job Summary
The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves managing a high patient ratio delivering quality care and supporting residents with chronic and ongoing healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate documentation using systems such as ECS.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
Assist with care planning and resident assessments.
Ensure compliance with safety infection control and facility protocols.
Schedule & Work Environment
12-hour shifts (Day or Night based on assignment)
Full-time schedule (3x12 or 4x12 options available)
No on-call requirement
Floating may be required within scope
Long Term Care facility setting
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific required at time of submission)
Minimum 1 year of LTC nursing experience
Previous travel experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
