Job Summary
The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves managing a high patient ratio delivering quality care and supporting residents with chronic and ongoing healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate documentation using systems such as ECS.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist with care planning and resident assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety infection control and facility protocols.
Schedule & Work Environment
- 12-hour shifts (Day or Night based on assignment)
- Full-time schedule (3x12 or 4x12 options available)
- No on-call requirement
- Floating may be required within scope
- Long Term Care facility setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of LTC nursing experience
- Previous travel experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
