As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit in Chicago IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong communication teamwork and integrity while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced public-facing environment.

Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a commercial property environment.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings public access areas entrances exits parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor tenant and vendor activity while reporting maintenance concerns access issues and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Support crowd management access control and/or directional assistance during busy periods special events and changing location conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
