We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Maintenance Technician Level 1 to join our this high-impact role you will support all facets of the Engineering Department for Arena Operations while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks including assisting various departmental trades light repairs and general property upkeep
• Perform minor repairs in electrical plumbing HVAC and various trades as needed.
• Assisting with painting as needed minor surface repairs with a neat professional finish
• Perform basic carpentry work including shelving installation wood repairs and furniture assembly
• Assist with minor plumbing repairs such as leak fixes drain unclogging and faucet replacement
• Support basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs and troubleshooting minor issues (under supervision)
• Complete minor flooring repairs
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
• Support senior technicians on more complex repairs and special projects
• Assist with event setups installations and coverage.
• Communicate professionally with team members and vendors if applicable to daily workflow.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain clean organized work areas

What We Need from Our General Maintenance Technician 1:

• A strong willingness to learn and take initiative
• Dependability and the ability to follow instructions while developing independent work skills
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
• Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform hands-on labor
• Comfort working at heights (ladders) and in confined spaces

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 Yrs Experience with General Maintenance and Repair. Preferred.
