Position Summary:
The Income Advancement Program (IAP) Manager supports neighbors across the full range of services offered by St. Vincent de Paul Georgia including Motel to Home the STABLE Program (Supporting Transition to a Better Living Environment) Marillac Moms Workforce Wednesdays and walk-in assistance at the main office. The goal of the program is to help neighbors strengthen their financial stability and work toward long-term economic mobility.
Under the direction of the Housing Director and program managers the Income Advancement Program Manager plays a key role in supporting neighbors as they identify and pursue pathways toward employment skills training and greater financial security. The IAP Manager meets one-on-one with neighbors providing coaching resource navigation and when appropriate limited financial assistance to help overcome barriers to advancement.
The IAP Manager works with neighbors to identify their aptitudes and interests pursue job training and educational opportunities and connect with better-paying employment. They also build and maintain relationships with community partners employers and training providers to expand opportunities for participants.
In addition the Managerr tracks progress maintains detailed records and collaborates closely with SVdP team members across programs to ensure wraparound support tailored to each participants needs and goals. Through this work the IAP Manager helps neighbors move toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist neighbors to identify their aptitudes and skillsets and obtain job training to increase employability.
- Connect neighbors with better-paying employment opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners employers and training providers.
- Track participant progress and maintaining detailed records.
- Collaborate with SVdP team members to ensure holistic wraparound support aligned with each participants goals and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work Human Services Workforce Development or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substituted for education).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in case management workforce development coaching or related service roles.
- Familiarity with public benefits systems (e.g. SNAP TANF Medicaid) adult education or employment readiness services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to coach or mentor individuals toward achieving employment or financial goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using technology for documentation tracking and virtual communication (e.g. Microsoft Office case management systems etc.).
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and strengths-based service delivery a plus.
- Committed to the mission and values of SVdP Georgia and to supporting neighbors with dignity and respect.
- Culturally competent and sensitive to the challenges faced by individuals experiencing poverty or housing instability.
- Self-motivated collaborative and adaptable in a dynamic team environment.
- A valid drivers license and vehicle are required as well as proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to support the mission of a Catholic based non-profit organization

This position works in an in person office environment Monday - Friday during normal business hours with some flexibility for remote work. He/She may be required to be available on nights and weekends depending on neighbor availability to meet to pursue their IAP goals.

Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and background. There are also company paid holidays and paid time off available to all full and part time employees.
