Role overview:
As an Art Technician you will support the smooth running of the Art Department ensuring that lessons are well-resourced and that students can fully engage in practical learning. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials maintain equipment and contribute to a safe and inspiring creative environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organise materials and equipment for Art lessons

  • Maintain and manage stock levels ordering supplies as required

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are safe clean and ready for use

  • Support students during practical sessions where appropriate

  • Assist with the display of student work across the department and school

  • Maintain art studios including cleaning and organising workspaces

  • Support health and safety procedures within the department
