Role overview:
As an Art Technician you will support the smooth running of the Art Department ensuring that lessons are well-resourced and that students can fully engage in practical learning. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials maintain equipment and contribute to a safe and inspiring creative environment.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and organise materials and equipment for Art lessons
Maintain and manage stock levels ordering supplies as required
Ensure all tools and equipment are safe clean and ready for use
Support students during practical sessions where appropriate
Assist with the display of student work across the department and school
Maintain art studios including cleaning and organising workspaces
Support health and safety procedures within the department
