Job Summary
We are working with a unique Independent school in Birmingham seeking a Senior Science Technician. This is a full-time permanent role starting ASAP leading the technical support for a highly successful Science department.
The Role
Technical Oversight: Supervise the preparation of complex practicals for Chemistry Biology and Physics up to A-Level.
Safety Leadership: Act as the departmental lead for health and safety ensuring strict adherence to CLEAPSS guidelines.
Stock Management: Oversee the procurement of chemicals and specialist equipment ensuring zero learning time is lost.
Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior technicians promoting a culture of professional excellence and scientific inquiry.
