The Role

• Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 with potential A-Level support for the right candidate

• Planning and delivering lessons that develop numeracy logical reasoning and mathematical fluency

• Supporting pupils with examination preparation and higher-tier GCSE content

• Promoting high standards of accuracy and mathematical communication

• Encouraging confidence resilience and a passion for problem-solving

• Participating in the schools Maths Challenge entries and numeracy enrichment initiatives

• Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A strong academic background with a degree in Mathematics or a related STEM field

• The ability to break down complex mathematical concepts for learners of all abilities

• High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress

• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to engage with the schools ECT mentor programme
