Key Responsibilities

Analyse trends and produce reports for senior leaders and governors
Follow up absences promptly with parents and carers
Implement targeted attendance interventions and support plans
Work closely with safeguarding pastoral and SEND teams to remove barriers to attendance
Liaise with external agencies local authority services and Education Welfare where required
Ensure attendance records are accurate and compliant with statutory guidance
Promote a positive culture of attendance across the school community

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in attendance pastoral safeguarding or school administration
Strong understanding of school attendance procedures and statutory guidance
Experience using MIS systems such as SIMS Arbor or Bromcom
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with families and agencies
Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally and confidently
High levels of organisation resilience and attention to detail
