Job Summary

About the Role
As Teacher of Science (Chemistry) you will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a strong focus on Chemistry. There may be opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and timetable.
You will deliver well-structured lessons that develop:
Secure understanding of key Chemistry concepts and scientific thinking
Confidence with practical work and safe lab routines
Data handling application of knowledge and evaluation skills
Strong scientific vocabulary and written responses where required
Exam confidence through modelling deliberate practice and precise feedback
The Science Department
The Science department is supportive and well organised with shared resources and consistent approaches to assessment. The team values clear explanation strong practical work high expectations for scientific literacy and well-planned GCSE preparation including intervention and revision support where needed.

Location: Oldham
Start Date: ASAP / next term (or by agreement)
Contract: Full-time permanent (or as agreed)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
