About the Role
As ECT Science Teacher (Biology) you will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a strong focus on Biology. You will be supported to deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
Secure understanding of key Biology concepts and scientific thinking
Confidence with practical work and safe laboratory routines
Data handling application of knowledge and evaluation skills
Strong scientific vocabulary and written responses where required
GCSE confidence through modelling deliberate practice and clear routines
ECT Support and Development
You will benefit from a strong ECT programme including:
A dedicated subject mentor and regular coaching
Protected time for training planning and reflection
Opportunities to observe experienced colleagues
Support with behaviour routines assessment and adaptive teaching
Shared resources and collaborative planning to reduce workload

Salary: MPS (ECT)
