Salem Public Schools is seeking dedicated educators to plan and facilitate a professional development session during the Pre-K Professional Learning day on June 22 2026. These teachers will play a critical role in ensuring that the PD is actionable engaging and anchored in best practices.
Responsibilities and Timelines
Teachers will plan and facilitate a breakout session for the Pre-K Professional Development day on June 22 2026. Responsibilities include:
- Planning a 25-minute session on a specific topic.
- Facilitating the session 3x during the June 22nd PD day.
- The afternoon will be structured as stations so teachers will rotate through to 3 different sessions throughout the afternoon. Youll facilitate the same session to 3 different groups of teachers.
- The audience includes Pre-K teachers from both SPS and our partner classrooms.
- There will likely be about 15-20 educators per session.
- Feedback Implementation: Presenters will submit agendas and initial drafts of all materials by Thursday May 28th at 5:00pm receive feedback on their drafts and revise materials prior to facilitating the session on June 22nd.
Total Compensation: $90 (2 hours of planning)

Job Requirements
- Current educator in a CPPI classroom in Salem.
- Demonstrated expertise in Early Learning instructional practices.
- Commitment to planning a 25-minute breakout session on a specified topic receiving and implementing feedback and facilitating the session three times on June 22nd.
- Experience with ThreeCheers curriculum implementation and data-driven decision-making.
