Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills prior travel experience and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
- Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR Required
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active New York RN License Required
- BLS Certification Required
- ACLS Preferred
