We are seeking a highly experienced RADAR Rating Expert with deep hands-on expertise in Guidewire RADAR. This role is fully focused on designing configuring implementing and maintaining complex factor-based rating solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have extensive production experience with RADAR rate tables rating algorithms and direct integration with Guidewire PolicyCenter. This role is critical in ensuring accurate premium calculation regulatory compliance and insurance product profitability.

Candidates without significant hands-on RADAR rating experience will not be considered.

• Design configure and maintain RADAR rating models in production environments
• Develop and manage RADAR algorithms routines and calculation logic
• Implement factor-based pricing models including limits deductibles coverage options and underwriting attributes
• Manage rate versioning effective dating and rate change history
• Support frequent rate changes while ensuring performance accuracy and auditability

• Build and maintain RADAR rate tables (base rates modifiers multipliers tiered pricing structures)
• Configure rating factors such as territory risk characteristics and underwriting criteria
• Perform impact analysis for rate and factor changes
• Execute testing validation and reconciliation of rating logic
• Manage rate rollouts and retirement of outdated logic

• Integrate RADAR rating with Guidewire PolicyCenter across quote bind endorsement and renewal workflows
• Ensure alignment between RADAR rating logic and PolicyCenter product configuration
• Work with PolicyCenter teams to define required data inputs and outputs

• Implement rating logic for coverage deductibles limits and optional coverages
• Align rating models with underwriting rules and business intent
• Support underwriting issue lifecycle (creation updates retirement)

• Design validation rules to ensure rating accuracy and completeness
• Implement error handling for invalid or incomplete rating inputs
• Troubleshoot premium discrepancies and rating defects
• Perform root cause analysis for rating issues across environments

• Coordinate with UI and forms teams for accurate premium display on policy documents
• Ensure rating inputs and outputs are correctly captured and displayed
• Maintain end-to-end consistency across systems

• Deliver rating solutions across multiple insurance lines
• Hands-on experience with Personal Property rating models is required
• Strong experience with factor-based rating systems at scale

• Collaborate with Product Owners Actuarial teams Underwriters and Technical teams
• Provide technical leadership on RADAR modeling and rate design
• Participate in design sessions code reviews and documentation

• Minimum 10 years of Guidewire experience with strong RADAR focus
• Extensive production experience with RADAR rate tables and factor-based rating models
• Strong expertise in rating algorithms routines and versioned rate management
• Proven experience integrating RADAR with Guidewire PolicyCenter
• Strong understanding of insurance pricing rating structures and regulatory requirements
• Ability to perform impact analysis and resolve complex rating issues
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Actuarial Science or equivalent experience

Candidates will not be considered if they:

• Do not have hands-on production RADAR rating experience
• Have only PolicyCenter configuration experience without RADAR
• Have actuarial/pricing experience without RADAR implementation
• Lack ownership experience in rate tables or factor modeling within Guidewire
