Job Summary
Description:
3rd shift(11pm-7am)
Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.
Job Responsibilities
Comply with all requirements regarding safety and quality compliance and regulations.
Perform production inspections and document results while monitoring part output and part
quality from molding machines.
Weigh count production pack parts and accurately label the production.
Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision.
Responsible for accurate documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices on production and
quality records cleaning forms batch folder etc.
Participate in and complete all required training.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
Learn understand and apply rigorous quality standards Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety quality mechanical or
discrepancy issues occur.
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
Able to complete documentation legibly.
Trained as forklift driver preferred.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
Low absenteeism.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure
CL.
Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend stoop and climb ladders.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment
In a Class I Controlled Environment which includes the following dress/gowning requirements:
safety glasses safety shoes ear plugs jumpsuit hood hairnet beard cover gloves isolation
mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning).
Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise.
Involves working around equipment machinery and belts.
Requires occasionally working with chemical cleaners and disinfectants.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma required.
Additional technical experience training or education a plus.
