Job Summary
description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent department includes all functions related to operating room services including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services inpatient and/or outpatient services and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU anesthesia functions pre op holding and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined please notify FP&A and we can map it to Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia to provide you with an appropriate benchmark.

Day Shift/ 10 hour shifts 1100-2130 Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday call on Friday alternating 1st and 2nd call Need someone with Davinci experience/s one weekend call every 5-6 weeksEducation and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: RequiredDepartment Specific License/Certifications:AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: RequiredAHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
