Asset Manager

Executive Summary:

The client is looking for an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle management of materials and government-furnished equipment (GFE) within the Department of Defense domain ensuring secure supply chain integrity and financial tracking accuracy.

Position Description: The Asset Manager will be responsible for the procurement transportation receipt storage and inventory management of technical assets. This role involves maintaining proficiency with mobile/warehouse logistics systems and coordinating IT financial planning and tracking to ensure project alignment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage materials throughout the lifecycle including procurement transportation receipt storage inventory and warehouse management.
• Oversee and track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) used within the Department of Defense domain.
• Execute IT financial planning and tracking to ensure budgetary compliance and asset accountability.
• Implement and maintain secure supply chain best practices to protect sensitive defense technologies.
• Utilize mobile and warehouse logistics systems to maintain real-time visibility of asset status and location.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure logistics support meets mission requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant logistics experience preferably within the DoD.
• 2 years of Asset Management experience.
• 2 years of IT Financial Planning/Tracking experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing materials (procurement transportation storage and inventory).
• Proficiency with mobile/warehouse logistics systems.
• Knowledge of secure supply chain best practices.
• Relevant experience with GFEs used by the Department of Defense.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 or IAM certification (Required within 6 months of hire).
• Familiarity with Hill AFB local logistics protocols.

Security Clearance:

• Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program (SAP) Information
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
