Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Quality Technician to work on-site with our client a top-tier Fortune 1000 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:
Mechanical inspection of precision machined components. CMM (Optical and Touch Probe) Interferometry Laser Micrometer and other advanced metrology equipment. Calibrations of metrology equipment. CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.
Preferred: Lean Corrective and Preventive Action root cause investigation Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding
Preferred: ISO 9001 AS9100 and / or FDA Certifications
Experience with any/all the following is highly desired: Advanced Metrology Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM) Keyence Image Measurement system Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis Laser micrometer

Education: University degree specialized training/certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
