JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Electrical Assembler
LOCATION: North Charleston SC
PAY RATE: $22/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

• Assemble structural and mechanical components per engineering specifications and work instructions.

• Install and route electrical components as required.

• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g. screwdrivers ratchets power tools multimeters continuity testers).

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and detailed work instructions.

• Follow safety procedures and quality standards during all assembly operations.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications.

• Experience using basic hand power and/or pneumatic tools (manufacturing technical or military experience accepted).

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office email internet navigation).

• Ability to read write and comprehend English.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).

• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Basic understanding of electrical component installation and routing.

• Ability to work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd) based on business needs.

• Ability to complete training (6 10 weeks) and pass required assessments (3 failed assessments may result in release).

• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g. Confined Space Fall Protection).

• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting (10 35 lbs) standing bending kneeling climbing and working in confined spaces.

• Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals using proper PPE.

• Successful completion of all pre-employment screening requirements.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
