PAY RATE: $30.17/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Assist with installation modification and fabrication of wiring electrical components and associated equipment per engineering drawings and specifications.

• Fabricate wire harnesses perform terminations ring-out and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.

• Maintain required logs and records.

• Complete tasks within established timeframes.

• Ensure all work meets regulatory and customer requirements.

• Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area; comply with FOD tool control 5S and safety programs.

• Maintain and properly use shop equipment and tools.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizen YIAW).

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics OR two (2) years of related work experience OR avionics certification with one (1) year of related experience.

• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

• Basic computer and software skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to read write speak and understand English.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
