POSITION SUMMARY The Supplier Technical Engineer supports the resolution of quality issues and oversees supply chain processes. This role is critical in driving supplier quality improvement initiatives ensuring reliability through process controls and implementing long-term action plans to meet organizational quality goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier Quality: Partner with suppliers to develop and improve quality levels; implement process controls certification programs and audits.

Problem Solving: Identify quality issues and determine short-term and long-term action plans with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Continuous Improvement: Provide conclusions and recommendations for quality improvement projects and utilize quality processes to qualify new products.

Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to organizational standards procedures and safety policies.

Analysis: Use diagnostic tools and fact-finding techniques to identify root causes and eliminate non-value-added activities.
REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience: 2 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Engineering.

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Quality Management tools (walkthroughs inspections and QA methods).

Communication: Ability to transmit and interpret complex technical information and deliver constructive feedback to suppliers.

Priority Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and objectives without reducing productivity.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Bonus)

Familiarity with investment casting and airfoils (specifically blades and nozzles).

Experience with quality indicators relevant to heavy manufacturing or turbine industries.
