Litigation Associate
About the Role:
As a Corporate and Commercial Litigation Associate you will work on sophisticated matters that sit at the intersection of business law and global strategy. You will play an active role in developing case strategy managing key aspects of litigation and collaborating with a team of highly skilled attorneys across jurisdictions.
This role offers significant responsibility from day one including opportunities to take on lead roles in matters interact directly with clients and contribute to high-impact legal outcomes. You will be exposed to cutting-edge legal strategies and complex disputes particularly within Delawares highly regarded legal framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex corporate and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft review and edit high-quality legal documents including pleadings motions and briefs
- Develop case strategies and contribute to overall litigation planning
- Conduct legal research and analysis on sophisticated issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on multi-jurisdictional matters
- Represent clients in Delaware state courts particularly the Court of Chancery
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Law school graduation between 2019 and 2023
- Admission to the Delaware State Bar
- Strong writing drafting and editing skills
- Demonstrated litigation experience in Delaware state courts especially the Court of Chancery
- Federal Chancery or Delaware Supreme Court clerkship is advantageous
- Experience in Delaware federal courts is a plus but not required
