Job Title: Manufacturing Associate I
Location: Walkersville MD - 21793
Duration: 2 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Please Note: Initial training on 1st shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and will be transitioning to 3rd shift based on performance
Summary
Supports the finishing area by assisting with product screening kit assembly and preparation of packing materials. Contributes to documentation review quality compliance (cGMP) and safety adherence while working in a fast-paced laboratory-based manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support finishing area activities including screening product components and kit assembly
- Prepare packing materials and supplies for finishing operations
- Assist in reviewing departmental paperwork and logbooks
- Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with cGMP standards
- Ensure all team members follow processes procedures and instructions
- Follow all safety policies rules and regulations
- Ensure team compliance with safety standards
- Handle problems of limited scope using standard procedures
- Analyze routine data and situations for solutions
- Collaborate primarily with internal teams
- Work in a fast-paced safety-oriented team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0 3 years of experience
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Logical thinking and decision-making ability
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow standard procedures and compliance requirements
- Teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Primarily laboratory environment
- Required PPE: scrubs hairnet plant-dedicated shoes
- Physical demands; Long periods of standing Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) Repetitive motion and Exposure to noise and confined spaces
- Weekend and overtime work required based on business needs
- Must pass a Visual Acuity Test (eye exam) before start
