Location: Remote (HQ in Orlando) EST or CST Only

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Qualifications Required

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or related field and five (5) or more years of experience in related field; or an equivalent combination of education certification training and/or experience
• Database Certification (Postgres or Oracle) preferred
• Skill in AWS Glue and AWS Database Migration Service
• Strong SQL development skills across OLTP and analytical data platforms
• Skill in Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora for PostgreSQL administration tasks
• General understanding of Amazon Redshift architecture and service model including role-based access control user/group management and security permissions
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration including installation configuration upgrades and patching
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning including query optimization index strategy vacuum/analyze tuning and parameter configuration
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting PostgreSQL database performance resource utilization and availability
• Skill in AWS Lake Formation data lake deployments and administration
• Ability to organize work for timely completion
• Ability to speak write read and understand English
• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Skill in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
