We are seeking a confident self-motivated Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE Angular AWS and test automation to join the Single Family Acquisitions division at Freddie Mac. This role involves end-to-end project delivery development testing maintenance and production support for enterprise applications supporting the Day 2 Reps and Warranty framework.

The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile team environment demonstrate strong technical leadership and possess the ability to design build integrate test and support scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Delivery

• Design develop test deploy and support enterprise-level Java/J2EE applications
• Build responsive front-end applications using Angular and JavaScript
• Develop scalable backend services using Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Work on both manual and automation testing activities based on sprint requirements
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Cypress
• Implement enterprise integrations using standard technologies and APIs
• Deliver projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Technical Leadership
• Participate in solution design code reviews and architecture discussions
• Perform impact assessments and effort estimations
• Ensure adherence to best coding practices and architecture standards
• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members
• Provide technical guidance to development teams
• Production Support
• Participate in on-call production support rotation
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Support issue triage root cause analysis and resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 years of IT experience
• Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Systems or related field

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Java / J2EE

• Angular
• JavaScript
• AWS
• Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• SQL / Relational Databases
• CI/CD pipelines
• Apigee
• Shell scripting / Autosys
• GitHub Copilot / GitHub
• Selenium and/or Cypress

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design
• Experience designing enterprise and distributed systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services / mortgage domain
• Exposure to production support environments
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams
