Performs high quality Bone Densitometry imaging (Lumbar Spine Proximal Femurs Radius Vertebral Fracture Assessment Whole Body Composition Atypical Femur Fracture Orthopedic Knee and Pediatric)that meet the standards established by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry and the Mayo Clinic Radiology and EndocrinologyDepartments. Produces detailed analysis of images determines and provides additional FRAX Score Trabecular Bone Score and Sarcopenia calculations as appropriate. Requirescompetenceinequipmentand technologyin Bone Mineral Density.

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.

Additional Qualifications:

Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

Organized efficient and multifunctional.

Ability to work independently.

Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.

Ability to work varied hours shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days evenings nights holidays and weekends.

License or Certification

ARRT certified in Radiography or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.

CPR certified or obtained within 90 days of employment.
