Job Summary

The Halifax Elementary School (HES) is seeking qualified candidates for a Long Term Substitutegrade 6 teacher (1.0 FTE) for an assignment expected to begin on or around late May 2026 and continue throughthe end of the school year.

This is a 6th grade teaching positionat HES a kindergarten - grade 6 school.

Asuccessful candidate should:

be licensed to teach grade 6.
collaborate effectively with other staff members.
be willing to take part in professional development and attend faculty meetings.
communicate with families.
seamlessly transition to the role in the absence of the primary educator.

Salary is a daily rate of $312.00 beginning on day 1.
