What Youll Do
As a key member of our team youll play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering top-tier care. Your responsibilities will include:
Perform patient triage and obtain accurate medical histories
Assist veterinarians during examinations diagnostics and surgical procedures
Induce monitor and recover patients under anesthesia
Perform dental cleanings radiographs and oral charting
Collect and process laboratory samples (blood urine fecal cytology)
Place IV catheters and administer medications fluids and treatments as prescribed
Take and develop diagnostic radiographs
Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
Educate clients on treatment plans medications nutrition and preventative care
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies
Follow all state regulations hospital protocols and safety standards

Who Were Looking For
Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)
Successful completion of the VTNE and current Michigan LVT license
Genuine passion for patient care and client education

Professional demeanor with a team-first attitude
Prior experience in the veterinary field
