What Youll Do

As a key member of our team youll play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering top-tier care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform patient triage and obtain accurate medical histories
• Assist veterinarians during examinations diagnostics and surgical procedures
• Induce monitor and recover patients under anesthesia
• Perform dental cleanings radiographs and oral charting
• Collect and process laboratory samples (blood urine fecal cytology)
• Place IV catheters and administer medications fluids and treatments as prescribed
• Take and develop diagnostic radiographs
• Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
• Educate clients on treatment plans medications nutrition and preventative care
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies
• Follow all state regulations hospital protocols and safety standards

Who Were Looking For

• Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)
• Successful completion of the VTNE and current Michigan LVT license
• Genuine passion for patient care and client education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional demeanor with a team-first attitude
• Prior experience in the veterinary field
