Essential experience of the Manufacturing Engineer

• Strong experience in milling and turning with the ability to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Proven experience estimating machining and assembly processes from 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Ability to interpret and work to technical drawings with knowledge of GD&T requirements.
• Computer literate and able to pick up new software/ERP (IFS/SAP etc)
• Understanding of various work holding options and the design of innovative fixture methods with a background in manufacturing engineering being beneficial.

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Engineer
